No, there are no licensing requirements to run an Airbnb.

Most guests treat your home with care and leave it tidy. Airbnb’s Host Protection Insurance offers cover for third-party guest claims, as well as property damage or bodily injury, up to $3,000,000 (USD). Other platforms such as Booking.com, VRBO, and Stayz do not offer the same level of insurance cover as Airbnb, so short-term rental insurance can be a valuable extra safeguard.

For direct bookings, HYH holds a refundable $200 bond from guests, which is returned once cleaners have inspected the property and given the all clear.

Your property will need to be fully furnished and have all utilities set up, along with fast Wi-Fi, which has become even more important since COVID and the fuel crisis.   
Once the bedding configuration is confirmed, we can arrange a cleaning quote.
 
It’s also ideal to include a desk or dedicated space for guests to work from home, as well as pet-friendly features where possible, since these are increasingly popular booking incentives.
