Other platforms such as Booking.com, VRBO, and Stayz do not offer the same level of insurance cover as Airbnb, so short-term rental insurance can be a valuable extra safeguard.
For direct bookings, HYH holds a refundable $200 bond from guests, which is returned once cleaners have inspected the property and given the all clear.
